Grandmont and its treasures
Nested in the heart of the Monts d’Ambazac in the Saint-Sylvestre commune, the Grandmont village has kept its original character with its old houses and beautiful granite stones and only reveals its historical interest to curious visitors. During seven centuries, Grandmont was the centre of a prestigious religious order and a shining Abbey, now dismantled.
